Summer, Game Requests, and Business Cards

It's been a while since I posted. I've decided to make a commitment to blogging more, but with the summer here, there's not much to write about. Don't worry though. I'll find something to blog about. I do have a few things to blog about today.

Summer Time!

For most of us, summer is here! For teachers, that means packing up the room and beginning the long process of planning for next year. I taught second grade last year. Next year I want to try a few things. One thing I am most excited about is trying "Interactive Notebooks". I seen a few on TPT and am dying to try one out. Maybe even create one of my own. Math is my specialty so who knows. There's a lot of time during the summer.

Game Requests

Since it's the summer, there's not much of a need for games. With that in mind, for the summer, I will be taking game requests more often. It can be for anything in math. I have many different math games, so much more time on my hands, and nothing to do at the moment. Eventually, I will make a product on TPT where you can request a game, but for now, I'll be posting this every day (among other things). If I choose your topic or your the only comment, I will make a game for you specifically for free. If your not following my Facebook page, be sure to stop by and follow.

Business Cards

My TPT store is growing. I have 200+ followers on TPT, 600+ followers on Facebook, 1,000+ blog followers and 200+ followers on Pinterest. I planned to go to a few teacher workshops this summer. I decided to make some business cards to leave behind.

I made 2 types. One with an apple clip art made be Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah Designs on TPT (If you haven't seen her clipart, please visit her page. She has fabulous clipart I can't live without!). The other has children clipart from  Miss McTeach also on TPT. I made some in color and some in black and white. It did not take much to make. I bought the cards from Wal-Mart for $4.00 and the ink for $20. ($25 in all). Not bad considering I now have colored ink. I was going to go with Vistaprint and still may in the future.

That's all for today. I'm going to go work on some more ppt games and play Uno (my new obsession).

Class Dismissed!
