The Classroom Clique Celebrates Teachers Blog Hop

The ladies from the Classroom Clique are celebrating teachers! You know, teacher can really be under appreciated. They are some of the most hard working people in the world! We've come together to bring you some wonderful tips & tricks, freebies, and giveaways just for you!

End of year assessments can be a stressful time especially if you're testing for 3-5. Something I've always done with my 5th grade students is to hand out peppermints before testing. Research suggests that peppermints stimulates the mind and helps with memories. It can also helps to relax the mind. I'd hand out 3 peppermints (1 to start with and 2 for in between breaks).

If you or your students are feeling stressed about the end of year test, pass along a few peppermints. It will calm them down and help them to think clearly. Also, a good breakfast and good night's sleep is important.

When you hand out those peppermints, give your students a little motivation.

Boost your student's confidence with these end of year test treats. Low cost and easy to create, these little treat bags are a wonderful gift for students right before the big test day.
Simply print and cut them out. Fold and staple to the top of zip-lock bags filled with peppermints. I've also included a topper for Smarties (since students can be so smart sometimes).
