New Feature: Touch Scoreboards

An issue has been arising in some of my games. The type-in scoreboard isn't working. That bums me out!  It's one of my favorite parts of my powerpoint game. I came up with a new scoreboard that is more student-friendly and easier to use!

Introducing the Touch Scoreboard!

With the touch scoreboard, all you have to do is simply touch (if you're using a Smartboard, Activboard, promethean board, or mimeo) or click (if you’re using a laptop and projector).

The scores will only go up so points cannot be taken away. This makes it great for student centers!

The touch scoreboard will be particularly useful for students vs. students games as you can let your students play my games without worrying about something  happening to your laptop!

For future reference, the touch scoreboard will be the scoreboard used in all Mac games. I'm still working on type in scoreboards for Mac.

I will be adding this feature to all my future products. Now, instead of 1 game, you’ll get 2 games: a type-in scoreboard and a touch scoreboard. Over the summer and by request, I will be adding this update to past games!

New Game and Features: Write & Wipe PPT Games and Task Card Ready!

Time to reveal a new game and a new game feature!

I've used dry-erase boards in my classroom numerous times, both as a teacher and as a tutor. The kids love it and so do I. I always had a dream of a paperless classroom where every worksheet was digital. One of my first games I made for my class I used dry-erase boards and markers. Only makes sense that I make those games available for other too!

Today, I bring you: Write and Wipe PPT Games!

Write and Wipe games are powerpoint games that you can play along with mini white boards. There is no scoreboard so it great to use in a guided math group or as a whole class review.

All my Write and Wipe games will have 25 questions, giving you more questions and time to review.

There's even a sweet animation for revealing the answer. Also, with each game, there are some tricks and tips with using White boards in the classroom including cleaning tips and acquiring materials.

I know you students will enjoy playing this games as much I do!

You can get this game here:

Another game feature I will be adding to my new games (and later, adding to previously made games) is the "Task Card Ready" feature!

Negative Feedback

Usually, I don't take negative feedback personally. If something is wrong with my product, tell me right away! Don't wait several weeks, perhaps months before mentioning it to me, especially if you rate me low for it and ALL my other ratings are 4.0's.

I received a rating of a 2.1 because a buyer mentions several mistakes in it. When I first saw it I nodded and said ok. I responded back, giving my email so the buyer could let me know the mistakes I made and correct them. I would hope they would email me the mistake I made so that I could fixed them and compensate them for the effort.

I had someone purchase a different item and tell me there was a mistake in it. I appreciated the fact that she mentioned it to me first in the Q&A section instead on the rating section. She was a seller too and hoped I was not offended. Of course I wasn't. I was happy and appreciated the fact the she let me know. As sellers, we try to be perfect in the products we create, but we're not.

What do you think? Am I taking it too personally or do I have a right to vent a little?

Class Dismissed.
